About C-Health

Between 2021 and 2023, the CSAAE conducted an extensive review of 534 Primary Healthcare Centers (PHCs) across Nigeria’s southeast region, supported by 185 researchers. None of these PHCs met the minimum standards set by the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHCDA). These findings highlight significant challenges, such as inadequate healthcare infrastructure, limited access to medical services, and an acute shortage of skilled healthcare professionals.

C-Health was conceived to address these challenges in the Nigerian Primary Healthcare Delivery System Its mission is to ensure access to quality, inclusive and affordable healthcare services for all, with particular focus on underserved and vulnerable populations.

C-Health envisions a healthier Nigeria where individuals, regardless of location or socio-economic background, can access the medical care they need for a healthy life and we are chasing this dream through innovative and community-centered approaches that prioritize accessibility, prevention, and sustainability.

Mission Statement
